1. Who we are

ArabDM is free software by Kanzo Studio (kanzo.dev). Contact: support@kanzo.dev.

2. What we don't collect

No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no usage data. Neither the app nor the extension sends us anything about you or your downloads.

3. What is stored on your PC

Your download list and settings in %APPDATA%\dev.kanzo.arabdm, and partial files next to the file being downloaded until it completes. For downloads coming from the browser, that site's cookies are stored with the download so it can resume after a restart; they are deleted when you remove the download. This data never leaves your PC.

4. Browser extension

When a download starts in your browser, the extension passes its link, referrer, browser user-agent and that site's cookies only to the ArabDM app on the same PC, over a local channel (Native Messaging) that does not use the internet. It also observes requests for streaming video files (m3u8, mpd) to list them for you, without modifying any request. What it observes stays in browser memory and is cleared when you leave the page. It does not read your page content or browsing history.

5. Network connections

The app connects to the sites you download from, as your browser would, plus three other connections, none carrying any identifier for you or your PC:
• Update check: at startup and once a day it reads a static file on kanzo.dev with the latest version number.
• “From Kanzo” tab: when you open it, it fetches a static file listing our games from kanzo.dev; you can hide it in “About”.
• “Enable video”: only with your consent, it downloads FFmpeg from GitHub (github.com/BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds).
Like any website, the hosts (Cloudflare, GitHub) may keep your IP address in temporary technical logs.

6. External links

Google Play and game pages open in your browser and are governed by those sites' policies.

7. Children

ArabDM collects no data from anyone, young or old.

8. Changes

If we add a feature that processes data, we will update this page and its date before releasing it.
